We are not sure if we want a live band or a disc jockey?

Live bands are great, but you will probably pay three times as much for one third the actual playing time. We do not take breaks, if you contract Top Notch for five hours you get five hours of nonstop music. Most bands are not’t equipped or versatile enough to play a wide selection of music. Our 100% compact disc music library ranges from the 1930’s to the present (we don’t play records). We boast a full 1200 watt sub-woofer sound system. The unique sub-woofer system separates the low and high signals, it sends the lows to the two bass speakers, while the highs and mid range signals are sent to powerful directional speakers so that the sound can be concentrated where needed.. What does all this mean to you? During dinner your guests can enjoy full, rich, crystal clear sound at a low volume. When it’s time to pump up the volume the system duplicates a live band sound. In short, our systems are Top Notch!

Are you going to get corny or embarrass anyone?

We have done thousands of weddings! Our well researched methods of crowd motivation are both professional and successful. We will format our style to your liking. Some just want music and some announcements, others want an all out party. We are entertainers but never take center stage from the two most important people, the bride and groom! Our entertainment package includes various line dances, crowd pleasing skits and even sing-a-longs for everyone to join in on our wireless microphone system. Our entertainment is done traditionally or with our own Top Notch style. Remember, all of this is at your option when we speak with you about planning your wedding.

What kind of music are you going to play?

First of all we will send you a request sheet so you can list any special requests. Trust us to know what music will motivate your guests for the following reasons; we are constantly researching the Internet, magazines, radio airplay lists and disc jockey subscriptions to stay current. We also specialize in a vast variety of affairs that allow us to show our flexibility, such as sweet sixteen parties and 50th wedding anniversaries. Your more mature guests will be delighted when we bring them back to their era, whether it is Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, The Platters, or Elvis and the sounds of the 50’s and 60’s. We are also well versed in the ever popular country sound and in all ethnic areas.

What happens if you get sick or have equipment problems on our wedding day?

For starters, unlike most companies, Top Notch runs a two man team at all weddings. We fully guarantee that two Top Notch Disc Jockeys will punctually arrive at you banquet hall approximately 45 minutes before starting time. If a DJ is sick, he/she will be replaced with another fully trained disc jockey. We carry spare parts in our vans if an equipment problem should arise (this has never happened because of our excellent preventive maintenance system)

How do we go about acquiring your services?

Call us at 1.888.725.8591, or email us right from this site, to find out if we have an opening for your wedding date. We will send you a contract, music and wedding Itinerary sheet. Send us a $100.00 deposit within 10 working days to secure your date. The music and wedding Itinerary sheets are due back one month prior to your wedding date. After reviewing the information, the DJ handling your affair will contact you to confirm details. The balance of the payment is due at the end of the affair.
